Cooper’s Hawk Disc Golf Course Is located in the forested area of the Willow Point Sportsplex at 1800 S.Alder Campbell River. It is an 18 hole golf course consisting of medium length open holes and shorter technical holes. The course is constantly evolving and probably the most significant upgrade was the installation of concrete tee pads in 2010. Most holes have optional red and blue . Everyone Welcome We encourage everyone to come out and play a round of disc golf on this Free course. Our wide variety of fairways include many tunnel, uphill and open medium distance holes, make this course suitable for people of all ages and skill levels. Our motto is friendly competition and to promote the sport of disc golf

The 2015 Island Challenge is a wrap!

It was a great Island Team Challenge with Salt Spring Island beating Nanaimo one in a sudden death playoff. Greta job guys. A special thanks to Kristy Lee for her wonderful prize donations as well as Nanaimo and Campbell river and a special thanks to Mike and Eric from Nanaimo for helping with the scoring. Salt Spring 46, Nanaimo one 46 , Nanaimo two 46.3, Pender 46.58,Comox 46.75, Campbell river Seniores 48.54, Victoria 49.29 and Campbell river Super friends 50.5. It was an epic day of golf so a big thanks to all who participated. We raised 500 dollars for the nationals . Great job fellow golfers
THE 2016 JAMES HEDEFINE MEMORIAL DOUBLES DISC GOLF EVENT WAS HELD June 11th AND WHAT A GREAT DAY IT WAS. THE DIXON BROTHERS TOOK FIRST WITH TWO ROUNDS OF 42 FOLLOWED BY JOEL GOOD AND ANOTHER DIXON BEN AT 44-43 WITH KRISTY AND JOE IN THIRD AT 47 AND 41 . IN AM STEVE AND DELANE WERE THE WINNERS WITH A STERLING 47-44. ACE POT WAS WON BY STEVE MAWDSLEY
League Doubles Day Every Sunday at 11 is League doubles. The format is doubles best disc. Everyone is welcome to come out. Teams consist of one leader and a random choice. Team leaders always tee off from blue tee pads and seconds tee off from either blue or red depending on their skill level. The atmosphere is Friendly competitive. Club members will always be on hand for advice and encouragement. The fee for league doubles is 2 bucks, all of which goes into club funds for an awards banquet at the end of the season.
